A Quirky Buddy for Life

To look at a French Bulldog You would expect he doesn’t like you or anyone
else for that matter. Nothing could be further from the truth. French Bulldogs
are amiable, comical, and entertaining. Being greeted each morning with body
wags, twirls, and laughing eyes is truly a wonderful way to meet today.

A French bulldog puppy will quickly become attached to you and in fact, will
become a lifetime friend.

French Bulldogs are quick to learn at many things it seems
with the exception, perhaps, of toilet training. Beside this willingness to
learn it seems, exists a certain stubbornness that raises its
head or occasion and thus training requires patience, persistence, loads of
praise, and of course, treats.  These dogs are sensitive and therefore
tend to respond to loads and loads of praise as opposed to scolding and will
tend to pout as a result of the latter. 

Their somewhat blocky appearance surprisingly hides an especially
energetic, playful puppy. Chasing balls appears to be an almost universal
French bulldog passion.

A pleasant aspect of the French bulldog is the lack of the usual dog odor.
With regular brushings and the occasional wash, they are almost odorless.

Potential negatives of the French bulldog

Snorting, snuffling, flatulence, and the desire to lick everything are
what you get when you get a French bulldog.
